We Refuse to be Enemies

We Refuse To Be Enemies documents the situation of a family and their land in occupied Palestine. Around half an hour from Jerusalem and surrounded by Israeli Settlements they are confronted with imminent land confiscation, denial of access to drinking water and electricity as well as destruction orders for buildings located on their farm. They fight these oppression's in a very impressive way – straight after their motto “We Refuse To Be Enemies”. They contest military orders at the court, build cisterns to collect rain water and invite people from all around the world. The series shows the Nassar family on the way to realize their grandfather's lifetime dream. The imagery documents the peaceful coexistence of different cultures and religions based on humanity.
